Now

I recently finished a data science class. I had a lot of fun using python, which I used for many years as a software engineer, to work with data instead. I got to create things like neural networks and random forest classifiers, which sound fancier than they actually are. No idea what I’ll do with these newfound skills, only time will tell.

With that out of the way, and Autumn in full swing, I’m looking forward to a winter full of reading by the fireplace.

In General

I currently work as a software engineer, which I’ve been doing for over 9 years. I live in the finger lakes region of New York State.

I like to spend my time reading and thinking and tinkering with silly projects. I listen to the radio a lot—mostly my local NPR station, a classical station, and an oldies station. I like late 80s/early 90’s sitcoms, especially the ones that have aged like milk. I have a good dog.
