Year in books for 2025

I’m glad that I once again managed to beat my goal and surpass the number of books I read last year. It’s not a race, but I’m trying to incorporate more reading into my life, so more books means more progress. I know there is still plenty of room for more reading time in my day.

I started reading The Way of Kings, by Brandon Sanderson, over the holidays with the idea that even getting 10% of a 1000+ page book out of the way before the year began would help me start the new year off on the right foot. So far I’m really enjoying it, so I suspect that’ll end up being my first finished read of 2026 sooner rather than later.
